About Nancy Britton, Founder of Koru
Nancy started Koru in 1998 after training under a naturopathic physician and one of the most
experienced electrodermal screening (EDS) technicians in Canada. Koru was started with the
idea that a screening service should be integrated with other facets of an overall health
program by a naturopathic doctor. The idea of mobile testing is unique to the industry and the
cornerstone of Ms. Britton's philosophy that EDS be done in collaboration with naturopathic doctors.
Nancy is a graduate of the University of Guelph and was a sales representative in mainstream healthcare
before shifting into complimentary healthcare. Ms. Britton started, and now chairs, the Waterloo-Wellington
Wellness Coalition. The group was formed in 1998 to promote mainstream and complimentary practitioners
working effectively together.
